Nanomaterials in the environment: applications and effects 

This session welcomes contributions on the following topics: 

  • Environmental applications of metal and metal oxides-based nanomaterials, including (but not limited to) Ag, Au, Fe, TiO2, ZnO, and CeO2 nanomaterials 

  • Environmental applications of carbon-based nanomaterials, such as: 

  • graphene and graphene oxide 

  • carbon nanotubes 

  • fullerenes 

  • graphitic carbon nitride 

  • carbon quantum dots 

  • Development of new nanomaterials for environmental applications 

  • Occurrence, fate, and transport of nanomaterials in the environment 

  • Transformation of nanomaterials in the environment 

  • Toxicity, uptake, bioavailability, and bioaccumulation of nanomaterials 

  • Life cycle assessment (LCA) of nanomaterials
