Soil and groundwater contamination and remediation

This is the fifth time that we organize a special session on soil and groundwater contamination and remediation in the context of CEST and we are pleased to invite you to submit your work on:

  • Interesting case studies

  • Site characterization technologies

  • In situ remediation technologies and

  • Contaminated site management policy issues

Contaminated sites are typically very complex problems to solve and therefore, apart from pure science, the experience from the field is highly valued.

The best presentations of this session will be published to a special issue of Bulletin of Environmental Contamination and Toxicology (Springer), after the normal peer review process of the journal.
